Good summary, ST.
I agree with your assessment about the potential impact of each event, also.
I still very much believe that the SP will rise when POET is proven viable, in a product and/or with a PDA endorsement. People simply can't trust their own assessment of the technology because only a handful of people on earth know about it, and then a small subset of them understand what it is. That doesn't leave very many people to buy up the shares.
What potential shareholders will understand is (1) revenue (e.g., from an IR sensor) and/or (2) an Intel, or an Apple saying they want to see it developed into a commercial technology.
All of the future events ST labelled "Very High" have the highest probability of one or both of these important factors.
I haven't been participating in the discussions lately - mostly because I'm short on time these days - but also because there's not much to talk about as all the POET teams do their work. So much of the progress we look forward to must happen in series. Any delay in any of these areas has the potential to push back all future events. I believe the SSC keeps busy with meetings and maintaining connections with interested parties to keep POET on the forefront of their thoughts while Taylor bangs out the technical milestones.
It's all very exciting if you have the patience! I still think I'll be retelling this story to my grandchildren.
