og> ... perhaps what is being described is the sale of POET to a syndicate who will in turn work with Taylor to continue developing devices for licensing to non-syndicate companies. This would take place after we shareholders have had our liquidity event, with the balance of the value of POET to be realized by the consortium partners.

that is one very harsh risk that's been on my mind: outright sale for a song (say $3-5) that's nowhere near potential to a set of 'bigs' who'll thereafter take it private, only to reap the full value ($40-60+) in a flip.

remember, these are the types who'd hack up their grandmother with an axe if it were a way to improve their upside.

certainly explains the manipulation that keeps the lid on; shapes perception sentiment and drives retail investor fatigue home in a fashion like no other.

keeping PTK flat in the 40 cents' channel via myriad ways for most of the last two years has nearly every retailer drooling at the thought of $2, with $3 being a point where the herd will gladly hop over the exit cliff.

a classic ploy to shed the pesky retailers who societally have been marinated in the sauce of instant gratification for how long now? a generation? two?

since after all, *everyone* knows that $3 once is so much better than $2/year for 20 years.

3 is more than 2.

the calculator button (right there next to spell check) even says so!

$20? $50? that degree of reward isn't yours.

allowing you exposure to true wealth would loosen our control over your existence. you won't be allowed that!

foolish 99%-er!

it's not your caste!

as someone recently said, we're not invited to the banksters' party -- we'll just get stuck with paying for it.

will we be left bent over, or will we have an opportunity to crash the gates?

details of the upcoming SRP will tell the tale.

GLTA,

R.
