04:31 PM EDT, 08/24/2017 (MT Newswires) -- Osisko Mining (OSK.TO) said Thursday after market close that new results from the ongoing 400,000-meter drill program at its Windfall Lake gold project in Urban Township, Abitibi, Quebec include highlights such as 36.7 grams per tonne of gold over 4.0 meters, 41.4 g/t of gold over 2.4 meters, and 35.6 g/t of gold over 2.4 meters.
The drill program at Windfall Lake combines definition, expansion and exploration drilling in and around the main Windfall gold deposit and the adjacent Lynx deposit. The program also covers the Underdog, Caribou, Zone 27 and Mallard corridors.
Osisko shares climbed to an intra-day high of $4.73 on Thursday late afternoon, but was not able to maintain that price and ended the day at $4.68 -- still a 3.1% gain from the previous close.
