Dear Honourable Seamus ORegan:

            I am sure at this point you have been getting a few emails on this topic. I thought I would take the time to write just one more. As I am sure you know we have an abundant amount of natural resources in our country, a country that and 35 million others love very much. We have a responsibility to steward our country with the upmost integrity which includes who, how and when we take resources from the earth. All three of these parts are controlled in part by our federal government. We have a responsibility to our country to not only make sure these resources are extracted properly , but we have a responsibility to the tax payers that we do not just give them away to foreign entities. This seems to be the case here with Noront.

            I know you are fully aware of this situation and I implore you that the government take some action to make sure that Canadians benefit from Canadian minerals. The future is very bright and it will need all the minerals that Noront has to offer. The resources that Noront offers is vast including minerals that ALL EV vehicles need. The Ring of Fire area could be one of the largest mining districts in the world, if done correctly. If we expect the future to be powered on batteries then we need resources that are capable to deliver these resources.

            I am asking that you intervene in this process that is going on right now at Noront and be a government that helps Canada prosper.  I understand that , there is some big infrastructure needs in that area , but again the government can make all of this happen. Be a government that is for Canada and a government that will set up Canada as a country that can prosper for generations to come.
