My gut says we will not hear anything from Noront until after the budget is out. Cheif Achneepineskum has drawn the First Nation's line in the sand for the Federal and Provincial Governments to see...So, now we must wait for their response. Whether that response is in the budget, or in a separate announcement that follows the budget, Matawa's already knows their importance to our Post Covid economy. Matawa will expect a partnership out of all of this, as well as self-governance. Once this happens there will be many in the private world who will partner with Matawa just to ride their gifted, tax-free, coattails. So too are the promises made by our government to the automotive industry, and no doubt to Biden's US plan, that must be kept in the name of their recovery as well, and the national security of both countries; Canada & the US.

There must be a positive outcome to all of this, or the whole of North America will suffer.
