I agree Peter. Ministries and Ministers a plenty. I point my finger at Chief Moonias, yes, but there is a bit of truth to what he is saying. Contractors are notorious for stretching projects out to get the most they can out of clients. Especially true when the client, the provincial or federal government, is known to have an endless supply of money ... Thanks in part to us lovely taxpayers. But,  in this case we have one First Nation community who also has a history, which I find very similar to that of Attawapiskat, where their motives are intertwined with an underlying agenda. I am not saying that there are no issues of concern with our First Nations, because there are. I just question the integrity, and honesty, of some of the Chiefs that run these communities when opportunities present themselves.

What I am saying is this...When you have what appears to be an issue with your water you call a plumber, or a water specialist, to look at the problem, and then urgently send your water samples to the lab to be tested for harmful contaminants, or bacteria. I know...I have a well on my farm.  This would be considered the reasonable, commonsense approach, to such a situation. The last thing you do is evacuate an entire Indigenous community, who is afraid of catching Covid-19 if they should dare come in contact with the outside world. That, just does not make any sense at all. That is akin to jumping from the frying pan into the fire.

No...There is more to this ... Whatever it is, as soon as it is dealt with we will move forward; $ IMO....Something tells me there is no consultation to be had, but rather a negotiation instead.

TM.
