Message: Resource Nationalism-Africa

The mere mention of an export ban on Nickel in Indonesia moves nickel prices.

South Africa exports OVER 50% of the world's chrome, and yet there are some on this board that  feel news coming from that country is irrelevant and unrelated to Noront. Unbelieveable!

And the idea that mining requires NO energy???? Unbelievable! Energy issues in South Africa affect mining in Africa.

This video  in the link below (from 2 weeks ago)  is a good one to watch. It centers around How Resource Nationalism can be turned into a positive force in Africa.

The Finland model is brought up. The Fins take their chrome, make ferrochrome and make stainless successfully. They prosper.

South Africa has an abundance of Chrome but suffers from 1/3 unemployment and needs change.

And their are investors willing to help this cause. Countries depending on  secure chrome exports from Africa should be justifiably concerned .
