So...from this most recent news coverage.....only about 20 years of nickel, but up to a couple centeries of chrome (that's two centeries, not one)

I think the fact that the first nations along the east/west route can't seem to reach a consensus; and those along the north/south route are more enclined to go ahead with their road proposal; I think Noront has decided to persue the path of least resistance and move ahead with possibly developing the chrome first

With regards to the east/west route...it's too bad...when you look at all the facts....the results of the road study, where the concern seems to be more about their welfair checks being cut; rather than the great opportunities this developmnet will have for the people

The only down side is that the chrome development is the larger more costly project, which is still years away from getting off the ground...but, it's work that would need to get done at some point regardless

In the meantime; I'm sure Noront is still open to reaching a deal with those along the east/west route and they are hopeful that will still happen some time soon.  If an agreement could be reached, the timeline for development of the nickel project is much closer.
