Just offering a few adjustments to the forum:
"geochemistry dictates that there has to be equal amounts of Nickel to Chromite." No justification for that assumption just yet even geochemistry wise imho but read on...
"only about 20 years of nickel, but up to a couple centeries of chrome (that's two centeries, not one)"
I think that 2 centuries is what is hoped for, I doubt Coutts said it as a fact but as an expectation. It was only repeated as if fact. We have only evidence of 70 years worth of chromite.
"This means there is a ****load of Nickel still to be discovered." No it means that there is a plethora of metals to be Yet discovered, not just nickel, because most of the Ring has not been explored.
Over the last few years there were guesstimates of at least twice of what we know now for the whole Ring, likely three times and some (very optimistic as of now imo) of up to ten times. Noront holding most of it and possibly in the future of it all.
Any Hooo, Cheers to the future and us ever patient investors, Ed.
