There are thousands of John Lindsays out there, each and every one has their own agenda and a 'soap box' on which to stand and deliver. Yes, there are also thousands that suck up every word that said Lindsays speak. It's part of the 'gimmy' world we live in, so many nimby's that makes it so difficult to get any industrial venture off the ground. Its a wonder that any mining venture comes on line or pipe line gets built. No one in there right mind would venture into a natural gas project where fracking might be needed outside of the west, or a new pulp mill being built and the list goes on. Yet the cry continues to grow for more eduation, better health, new highways and of course we must arrest climate change.

Billions of dollars will be spent on climate change, enough to get several projects the size of NOT up and running. It wasn't so long ago that the "Little Ice Age" changed the landscape, in 1780 people were able to walk from Manhattan to Staten Island on the ice. Oh well can't push a rope any more but that doesn't mean I have to accept.
