I agree Ringer. The people of the First Nations are in desperate need of help. In my opinion the Ring of Fire is an inevitability, whether it be now, or years from now. The time has come for their people to embrace a new path and search for a brighter tomorrow, or risk being left behind while the rest of Canada moves on. Issues such as suicide and addiction tend to stem from a lack of happiness, and a sense of not belonging. The good thing is that those who are suffering in isolation are finally getting the help they need, to allow them to find purpose in their lives. This, by far, is the most positive spin out of all of this talk about the Ring of Fire, aside from the eventual riches to one day be uncovered. The Ring of Fire may not hold the all the answers for the First Nations, but at least it has shown them that they are not alone, and that the rest of Canada does actually care.
