It is becoming quite clear that the Liberals and Conservatives have no intention of advancing the Ring of Fire until after the election is over. The efforts that they have made thus far have been carefully planned to prevent any forward momentum. Instead every move played by either side has been designed to do just the opposite, and that is freeze things in place until the winning party can gain full control of the situation, and take credit for doing what must be done for the Ring of Fire to succeed. The Devco was meant to fail, Wynne was destined to be appeased to shut her up, Harper had no intention from day one of playing nice with Ontario, and the FN won't be given what they want until one of the two parties gains full control over everything ROF. So, if the Liberals win the next election the money will come and things will move, but if the Conseratives win then it is time to make Wynne and her Liberals look bad in order to take the ROF from them. Either way nothing will happen (IMO) until we see who the winner is after the next election, for much of what we have expected, and should have received, has not been forthcoming, and that is because they wanted it that way.
