Luker, my guess is the province is looking for some of that 4 billion in the above statement outside of the Building Canada Fund since the Ring of Fire could be considered a project of national significance. Probably why they are so slow with their application, and if they keep forcing the issue at some point the Feds will give in, especially with sums of money meant specifically for this purpose. Besides, ventures of this sort should be outside of regular public infrastructure demand. Don't short change the Ontario taxpayer, we deserve the same sort of deal Alberta got years ago when they received their oil funding.
