Why is buying remaining portion of Big Daddy a consideration?

Not likely because no need to buy it, and no need to discuss the idea at this time, imo.
What is most likely to happen in the future imho is cooperation between Noront and KWG.

I still hold on to the hope that they will form a Corporation of the Ring.
