I'm not much for politics..I find the traditional debates don't concern me much....and, at the end of the day, the party in power becomes the puppets for the real powers of this world.....so quite frankly, I seldom ever even vote.

I will say this though....as the outcome relates to our investment here....the way I see it anyway...

If the liberals win....the 1 billion will remain as a firm commitment....with continued pressure to have the feds step up to the plate. It is uncertain which of the companies in the ROF will benefit more though as Cliffs continues to lurk in the background. Needless to say, that will affect more, who moves chrome out of the area first...or put another way....who becomes the dominant miner of chrome in the ROF. However, you can't ignore the benefits (although not optimal) that NOT will realize with this outcome as a large portion of the required capital expenditures will be provided free of charge. The feds are likely to contribute, but it won't be on the terms the provincial government has laid out.

If the conservatives win....the commitment appears to be to fast track development..with a better chance of targeted support from the feds.....which involes moving the one company forward....that which is furthest along in the development stage....NOT. It appears to be a plan that is more in line with NOT's optimal plan...the E/W corridor. Not only will this reduce the timeline for development, it will have a more positive impact on the share price and put NOT in a more favorable negociating position as it seeks financing. Furthermore, it becomes more negative to other players (such as Cliffs) and may provide the greatest oportunity for NOT to be the first to also mine Chrome in addition to their Eagle's nest.

So, given that I have alot of skin in the game.......I think I will vote this time around....this will be strictly an investment decision.
