Come On Everybody, Lets Work Together!

Together, Noront and KWG could use synergy to open the first nickel, joint chromite and other metals mines in the Ring of Fire, while respecting the value of each others assets and aspirations.

KWG is working hard towards gathering the $2.5M for an upcoming 2013-14 winter drill program on Black Horse. Mineability, dilution studies and a joint trade-off study of Eagle One & Black Horse underground mining facility could be shared!

Also, it makes no sense to send chromite concentrate outside Canada from an economic, environmental, employment and a social standpoint. We should be working together, petitioning Canada to realize the creation of the James Bay and Lowlands Ports Authority and promoting another chromite production model. In Finland, not one pound of chromite ore leaves before it is transformed into stainless steel by Outokumpu. See Stan Sudol's article.

And why even have Canadian and provincial environmental assessments if Ontario allows a ministerial exemption to ship 50% of the chromite concentrate outside Canada? The pollution would end up being carried north over eastern Russian back into the Canadian portion of the north pole!

The best thing about the Finnish model is that it gives all companies involved a better return, more and better paying jobs for Ontario and therefore it's more likely to happen without heavy public subsidization, even though it is to the public's benefit under this model.

Both our great companies want to empower local communities, propelling them towards a major role in a strategic regional environmental assessment and better prosperity.

Following the Finnish chromite production model of moving toward zero raw exports, working together to foster the creation of a major Canadian stainless steel industry, sharing mine site planning and promoting a full joint panel regional one-project EA model controlled by local communities is a win-win situation.

Let's put our heads together!

Here is a little trick to see the Noront AGM video but remember there were never any verbal highlights. Click here!
