The communities north of Pickel lake need an all season road. The ice road will not be reliable and isolation used to be wanted but the minds are changing. This has nothing to do with the mines and is part of general public infrastructure. The power lines are coming and that too is part of public infrastructure. The mines are a bonus that will make the decision more agreeable to the cost per person for such an expenditure. The design of the road and rail infrastructure is not going to be made by one mine company. It is a take it or leave it proposition from the people and governments to the mines. Their mine plans will have to be adjusted to the public interest. Noronts mine plan can work with any end result once that has been decided. This puts them in the best position for success. I can see the risks falling away leaving just one risk now. Financing the mine. The infrastructure risks are just a matter of when.
