Agreed with your above statement, but we all have to remember, that the company is not for sale at .30 cents, nor could any reasonable amount of shares be purchased at these levels. Noront is primarily held by instos, so some can argue that the daily market trading is almost irrelevant. To be bought out, many many many multiples of "todays value" would have to be paid. Share price means very little my friend, very little given this situation. Consider these prices as a blessing/opportunity.
Raising funds has everything to do with it, especially in todays markets. And what do you mean paying it back? Shares will likely be the payback. If someone is willing to take a $400 million dollar plunge, it's very safe to say they see the value (true and perceptive) at much higher, and will be looking to make a good return on that type of investment. My bet is the languishing share price is relative to the offer of the $400 million. We as retail are so far behind the actual dealings it isn't funny.
