Message: Question/comments re: buyout in next couple of years... - Shakey

Evening Shakey,

"Question for a new thread---does anyone here actually still believe NOT will fetch more than a buck in next couple years?, and state reason why, cause I think we will be bought out before end of year for under a buck, and that will be a loss for this investor and probably many more here,,,"

Although it seems that NOT has been somewhat idle and with the exit of Mr. Hanson there may be some reason to be concerned, I still believe there is some hope for the shareprice and NOT may avoid a premature buyout. Perhaps someone could provide a break down of how NOT's relationship with Baosteel and RCF would play out if an offer for a takeover/merger was proposed?

Baosteel from what I can recall was interested in securing ore, and obviously (maybe not so obvious) as an investment, some financial payback (shares at 0.52 and 0.86). Would a merger/takeover impact Baosteel's interests? Will Baosteel complete their final purchase option this spring? Depending on what they decide, it may help us determine if a buyout/merger is possible before production. Their stand still agreement with NOT ends May 3rd. Are they interested in taking over the project completely as well as further exploration of NOT's other claims, or will they purchase the Chromite and the Nickel deposits/claims and set NOT free to continue exploring?

From what I recall about RCF is that they have in the past taken other juniors to production (can't recall if I read this myself or it was brought up through postings on this board). RCF has bought in at 0.52 (and likely at other price points). Would they be willing to settle for under $1, or under $2, or are they interested in taking this through to mine start up? Don't suppose they would work with Baosteel to buy out the Nickel and Chromite deposits? How would they benefit from this last scenario..?

Thoughts? Thanks in advance!
