Not sure where this is coming from, but, in truth, there are a few facts.

Because of the system that was set up by Agoracom, I do have the authority to delete a post.

In the seven years or so that I have been here, I have deleted a total of eight posts. In each situation, they were deleted because of derogatory statements, or outright lies.

I would never delete a post becaue of contentious issues. In fact I welcome them, as it provides a basis for for further debate on the subject.

My recent reference to deleting a post was because it contained an outright lie. I did not delete it. I merely stated it should be deleted, and I still feel so.
