9. Finally, no one wants to see the FN or anyone else for that matter get screwed over when this thing goes through, but , as in all major projects there will be winners and losers.

But there shouldn't be winner and losers. There should be winners, and there will be people who fail to get any advantages. If there are losers, that sort of implies that some people would be negatively affected by this project. There shouldn't be. If people are being negatively affected, then people involved in this project should re-think their approaches. Some people will certainly fail to gain any benefits, but it shouldn't mean that there are actual negative effects.

For example, with the FN's, if there was a choice between one Nation failing to derive any tangible benefits from the project, versus another which is being negatively affected by mine tailings poisoning groundwater, then I could live with the former but I would be opposed to the latter.
