here's a thought perhaps both levels of government need to sit down with Moonias and provide him with a reality check.I would say a whack across the side of the head but that would be impolite. here's a suggestion on what they might say to him, feel free to add.
1. it's fantastic that there has been a major discovery of chromite
2. it's even better given that a US Mining company has decided to invest billions in mining the chromite
3. Canada is open to foreign investment and is a friendly nation towards mining companies
4. The world economy maybe spiralling towards a major recession
5. Do we really want to piss off the investors in the ROF
6. Everyone wants to see this project go ahead given the benefits to the FN, and other Northern Ontario communities, i.e jobs, jobs, jobs and even more jobs
7. Jobs mean economic survival and spin offs for every section of the local communities
8. If we piss off the imining and nvestment community there are other projects in other countries that are ready and wiling to greet them with open arms
9. Finally, no one wants to see the FN or anyone else for that matter get screwed over when this thing goes through, but , as in all major projects there will be winners and losers. It's governments responsibility, to ensure there is as little pain as possible however they have to consider the economic windfall that this project will provide , not just for Northern Ontario but for all of Canada through the taxation program, and act accordingly.
Sorry for the rant, had to be said
