1. If NOT and partners (FN?) already started construction of E-W corridor, did they get the required permits, or they don't need to, since essentially they just "upgrade" the road to year-round standard. Another thing: did they apply for the 3P money from the Fed, since this project is "shovel ready" as defined by the 3P folks.
2. "not trucking Ni out" and "pipeline to Pickle Lake": With a 10% concentrate the bulk would be reduced significantly, hence trucking is quite doable as planned in NOT PEA. All cost estimates for the cost of Eagle Ni mine were based on the " E-W road scheme" and the "pipeline from site to Webequie Junction" to pipe the 10% Ni concentrate to be dried out/dewatered before loading into the trucks. The dewater/dryer equipment are planned to be located in Webequie Junction along with the diesel generators.
3. "Pipeline to Pickle Lake": Building a short (shorter) pipeline, from site to Webequie Jct, is one thing but to get the pipe right down to Pickle Lake is another thing all together. Too far, too many hurdles along the way, and costs of course. Was the pipeline option to Pickle Lake discussed by NOT, somewhere? At least, I have not heard about this option.
