What I was led to believe in April or May of 2011 was that, Cliffs negotiated a deal for the land purchase in Capreol. At that time they paid some form of a fee/retainer for right of first refusal or something of that sort to have the land held pending decision. It always was their base plan so no real surprise that they had it locked down. Subsequent to then and even as recent as this month they must have pulled the trigger. No issue in my mind.
To me this means Cliffs is confident enough about infastructure and the First Nations to proceed with the land purchase and it means that Noront's project is made that much more viable as a result. Very positive, imo.
