Tax loss selling/buying and RRSP or TFSA don't even belong in the same paragraph, let alone the sentence. Too many recent rule changes to even mention here.

If one was to rely on no tracking mechanism to buy in one cash account while selling in the other, one would be treading on dangerous ground. Even more dangerous would be to offer advice on a forum such as this that it is ok to do so.
