Canada is a raw material nation. That is what we do best. We can't compete in the manufacturing areas because we ALL want to be paid well and have the benifits that we deserve. To subsidize this our governments need to get money for social programs from the sale of resources. 40 million people can not afford to run and pay for a country this vast, keep helping those in remote location so we can populate this country or lose it, without this type of activity. There is no way that we can process all our resources from wood to wheat, minerals to water that is provided to us from our countries lands.
