The Summit
A key component of the regional economic development planning zones pilot project will be the staging of two Summits; one in Sudbury and one in Thunder Bay. The Thunder Bay Summit will be held on June 13-14, 2011 and the Sudbury Summit, June 15-16, 2011.
Delegates will work alongside international leaders to explore how other provinces and countries are maximizing the benefits of regional economic planning. They will also learn about the experiences of urban, rural and Aboriginal communities.
