Interesting discussion....I have two proposals.....

1) Build the railway as proposed, but continue south to Terrace Bay, build a docking/loading facility, and move the ore by ship to a smelter, this would be similiar to Seven Island PQ, where automated trains run unattended 24/7...(Cliffs' Territory)

Build a smelter in Terrance Bay, and a power plant to supply the required power....or build a transmission line from Otter rapids Hydro power plant.

2) build a railway line out to james Bay, construct, a loading/docking facility, on James Bay, stock pile during the winters, and ship to a suitable smelter, such as in Norway, where electrical power is available.

Recently I had the occasion to discuss the situation at the Victor, one major problem is electrical power for the pumps...it is expensive and limited....

Just some thoughts...
