Notizens,
Jackie's recent conversation with Wes touched the subject of compensation. Apparently they do a survey of compesation based on other companies in the industry of the same size (junior explorco) and nature. And then the "compensation commitee" votes on changes every six months.
I decided to look around at some other juniors and see if the NOT boys are on par with other's of similar "nature", and mostly finding that aside from a few junior gold mining co's and only a few exploration outfits, these guys are being handsomely compensated, and much more than their industry peers.
I took for example North American Palladium (PDL), which has an established miner, PGE's and gold and some other promising venture properties in Canada. They are listed on the main board at TSX and on the Amex exchange. They are not considered a "junior" as they actually produce ore and process it in Thunder Bay. PDL share price is $4.50.
Listed below are the total annual comensation amounts their (PDL) team. Incidentally, the CEO and CFO are ex-Barrick management just like they are at NOT:

Just posting this out there for you to understand that these guys are a few steps ahead of most when it comes to getting paid.
Have they earned it yet is the million dollar question?
My shares and I are still waiting for our compensation!
