Crazy, I have to disagree. I don't think that this bill is having much impact on our SP, although the implied threat of the lack of detail might have a small impact. McGuinty has already come out and praised the ROF as the saviour of the province's fiscal problems, and is looking to move things along in a cooperative manner, if not fast tracked. They want the money created from the income taxes on all those workers, and at the same time they solve some of the issues with northern first nation communities that are clamouring for jobs.

The ROF, in my opinion, will not be in the excluded area. It is just too much of a risk for the government to punish the companies (and investors) that have poored millions of dollars into exploration and have found the goods. No politician looking to get (or hold) votes would be that daft, despite what we think of the HST...
