Hi BJay,

I put this question to NOT a while back. The answer I got was that all cores are inspected, logged & placed in the core shack. If any cores warrant furthur attention (assays), they are then sent to the labs. In other words, many cores are not sent because there is no visual mineralization. There may be some mineralization of course, but it wouldn't warrant spending the money on assays, especially when there are many other cores that do warrant furthur attention.

That's basically what I was told.
