good morning my friends: I am a bit curious, perhaps one of you can tell me. I was an assayer for my friend, I know how long it took me to do one, a simple fire asay for gold & Silver.
On these cores, I have no idea, do they assay the core continouly every Centimeter, or just once every meter or so??
Since I was only fire assaying, a comparativly simple process, but time consuming, how does it compare with Chromite etc. assaying which is vastly more complex?
I could do 15 or so daily after quartering, grinding, preparing, Crucibleing, separating the slag and the concentrate, Cupelling the concentrate to eliminate the Pb, then weighing the resulting bead. Then the bead was subjected to acid to remove the Silver leaving (?) just the gold bead which was weighed again.
So time wise how much more time in needed for a Chromite Etc. assay? Are we being unreasonable in our time expecations? I think that this is important for some of our uneasy share holders to perhaps relax..

p.s. Remember we are talking about 'kilomenters' of cores to be assayed.
