O.F. do you believe that the natives built the strip without concern for environment? I doubt that you think so.
I do not think they say don't do as I do but as I say. They live there and by the looks, the area is of low drainage. Environmental problems would be serious and none would have a vested interest in it's integrity then them, imho.
So they should have consulted with ministry bureaucrats - that takes a long time.

So we are talking more about political correctness than anything else. Again imo. Ed.
