"Now, that is just the way I see things. I understand that Freewest thinks that Noront is the "devil" and that Cliffs is the "savior" of their company. I see and understand that, if you are trading with emotion. If you were to stop your emotion for a minute and start thinking with your head and wallet, you may see that consolidation just MAY be the best way after all. Just my opinion of course. I know that all my opinions won't amount to a hill of beans with respect to the eventual share price, but it IS fun to try to figure out what will happen. It would also be beneficial for your wallet as well if you can figure out where this is headed..."

Good post, Herb.

I have chosen to stay away from all the discussions of late, but your post here awakened the old urge to post again. The above closing statement from you says it all, in my opinion. Both forums of late have been inundated with emotional statements, and they do not relate true facts because of it. If, as you say, everyone could set their emotions aside and think only of their wallet, it would change the landscape considerably.

I made an investment error in dealing with my investments in FWR/NOT. When FWR went over .50, I opted to move out of FWR and into NOT because of the discrepancy in the 4-1 ratio. I didn't actually lose much, since if one was to do the same thing today, the ratios are about the same as then or maybe a bit better. The real loss to me is that I will not get to partake in the warrants that will be issued along with the share exchange.

I easily can see a NOT share price of 7-10 dollars in the not too distant future. The arrival of it will be accelerated with a consolidation. If and when that happens, I will do very well with my investment. However, if I had held all my FWR, and tendered them to NOT in this consolidation offer, the upside would be at least 50% higher than it will be in my present situation. This is what is driving the FWR SP at the moment. Even if they pay an extra 10 cents over the .86 offer they will still profit well at the end of the day.

A secondary consideration is that I triggered a serious capital gain by my actions. This would not be the case if I had held and tendered.

Interesting times indeed

Best regards

K
