I have read in the not too distant past where the Freewest shareholders would only consider selling Freewest shares and "then, if they felt like staying in the ROF", buy into Noront... I would propose to reverse that way of thinking...
So, let's say that instead of tendering your shares to Cliffs and selling out for 90 cents, all said, all done, nothing but Cliffs shares, dated non the less at the s/p of approx. 5 trading days or so just prior to when Cliffs plans to take these shares over, let's say that you were to tender your shares to Noront, thus creating a consolidated area... IF you were to do this, it is MY belief that a consolidated area is worth more than the sum of their respective parts if worked on by a major having to deal with "several" companies. I still believe that if you have Freewest chromite with Noront chromite with Probes chromite with Spider's chromite, you would get to sell it ALL and then command a bit of a premium, especially with the first NI 43-101 for the Blackbirds with all the metalurgic studies etc.
Now, if you are a Freewest shareholder, you would have a much better chance to have Noront increase in share price substantially if indeed there is a major in the wings trying to consolidate the area and buy a nice neat package. Now, after selling out Noront in the next 6-7 months, which I think could happen by consolidation, you would be able to take that money and invest into Cliffs at that point when they are far from getting to their triple or higher like stated on the Freewest forum. You would be getting a multiple on your investment with Noront (my opinion) and then you could STILL get your multiple with Cliffs later WITH THE MULTIPLE MONEY YOU JUST MADE WITH YOUR NORONT!!! Kinda like reverse thinking, in my way of thinking :-}
Now, that is just the way I see things. I understand that Freewest thinks that Noront is the "devil" and that Cliffs is the "savior" of their company. I see and understand that, if you are trading with emotion. If you were to stop your emotion for a minute and start thinking with your head and wallet, you may see that consolidation just MAY be the best way after all. Just my opinion of course. I know that all my opinions won't amount to a hill of beans with respect to the eventual share price, but it IS fun to try to figure out what will happen. It would also be beneficial for your wallet as well if you can figure out where this is headed...
God Bless all Noront Shareholders.
