"Noront NEEDS Freewest whereas Freewest doesn't need Noront and I believe this take over attempt will prove to be disastrous for Noront."

Are we not showing our colours here? Justification for above?

Quite the opposite, Noront does not need Freewest because they have some of the chromite. What they want is a consolidation of that resource so that they will have assurance of a profit on it in a not too distant future and the power of a larger chromite resource and company to make more effective deals.

On the other hand Freewest needs Noront more because they are basicly a one trick pony in need of the stability that a multi metal resource would provide in a feeble market place, besides the force of a larger company. The recent attempt through a news release by FWR of implying a gold resource ( which is not ) is proof.

Per example just posted here, small chromite producers in South Africa are being pinched, so why would that not happen here also. The globe knows no borders when dealing with international corporations. This is a perfect argument for consolidation.
