Great discussions on Vanadium guys.
Herb, your comment "This requires extra large space right now. Space in downtown New York, for example, would come at a premium,"
and Sum, your comment
"The possibilities are considerable even if space considerations make it a problem for a city centre, depending on the power requirements."
got me to thinking about the issue of space requirements needed for capacity storage.
enter the new and improved High rise building envelope....
-where possible the utilizaiton and inclusion of storage capicity intregal to the main foundation by and large to act as the buildings main power sink, connected to grid for sharing of electrical.
-exterior surface retrofit of storage panels added to existing buildings by way of implementation of interconnected storage capacity exterior panels hung much the same as all exterior precast panels are hung. Through efficient and intelligent design the panels could very well be both collector and storage cell.
"The three holes drilled in the Thunderbird magnetic and gravity anomaly span a strike length of 900 metres. If the remaining assays and preliminary metallurgical results are favorable then Noront plans to drill more holes along this trend to test for continuity between the current intersections and up towards surface, and to extend to the limits of this 1.6 km linear magnetic trend. Numerous other linear highly magnetic anomalies with characteristic polarizability anomalies exist within the Grid 2 extension area and all are considered targets for exploration for further V-magnetite mineralization. These other targets collectively represent a further 3 km of prospective strike length within the ferrogabbro sill complex."
And eventually Wes will order a drill back to Thunderbird to further define the deposit.
All discussions re: Vanadium possibilitys are most welcome this long weekend. Thunderbird will surprise....
Cheers
