You may be right PT1, but there is one major difference. Never has there been such public awareness in the past. Awareness of air quality and related health issues. I'm amazed at the people I see riding around in Smart Cars, and their increasing numbers. I'm amazed at the people I hear talking about the health problems brought about by technology, people, without intending to be judgemental, who you wouldn't expect to give a thought towards these issues given their habits. There is no question the vested interest will not be leaving tomorrow or next year, but we also have gov't taking actions, however sincere they may be, which, until the present, has been unheard of. There are changes taking afoot and though the dollar will always rule, we have reached that time when, in part due to geo-political issues, it becomes cost effective to start moving towards protecting ones future and investing in other possiblities. There will not be a future on the road we are on....not for very long anyway.
