They can't say the deposit is too small, not enough nickel, not big enough intercepts. They can't say the infrastructure is a challenge what with the rail line going in, they can't say the majors aren't interested, they can't use dwindling capital as a scare tactic anymore.

All they have left is disruption. And they're doing a fine job. Notice how they acknowledge how fantastic Hoov's contributions are, then they try to destroy the forum to keep content like that from surfacing through the myriad garbage posts. Even they are daunted by him, knowing they couldn't possibly out-debate him so they utilize another tactic to drive him and others away.

There is a big difference between genuine "longs" posting in their excitement things that are of marginal value ( especially after the gut-wrenching year we just experienced) and other new arrivals of dubious motivations posting absolute dreck. Notice the longs quickly get their act together with a reminder, while the others keep at it incessantly.

I'd rather have one "hoov" and others like him than a baker's dozen of these others, even if it means I might be mistaken about one or two of these posters intentions.

So I say "Good on you Jacki" for trying to keep some semblance of order. We are still going to need a place for DD going forward; we're not out of the woods yet, so if we want a place here at Agoracom in the future with posters of value, we have to be vigilant or they'll hijack it.
