This makes very good sense to me as last summer China stopped many factories just for the olympics.Miners kept producing minerals to seem like a glutton of supply only to drop price temporary so China can buy minerals very cheap for a while with US dollar.

If this was and is an orchestrated plan it is a good one .Better off to leave the minerals in the ground than to give them away for dirt cheap.

The thirld world is dissapearing and everyone wants to live more advanced which means more mineral use.
