Consolidation.... variables....variabl...

There have been some very good commentaries about what the ideal strategies would be regarding consolidation, though having been through the last close to two years, we have seldom seen ideal, notwithstanding the Fall of 07. It seems like it would be the most advantageous to have the best juniors put their land packages together, while satisfying their investors with an appropriate arrangement, and then selling to a major for lots of coin. That sounds about as easy as bringing peace to the middle east and the rest of the world. The competitive factor could rule this out. Consider that, though it would be best for a company to control the whole area, it could wind up being in the best interest to pick up FWR knowing, by itself, it could supply much of world demand when all is said and done and paying for the whole district may be unnecessary to dominate the market. In addition, I'm sure you remember other posts commenting on controlling land just to impede others access to it without any concern for near term mining. It strikes me that had NOT been able to acquire all of the land in the ROF, we'd still have about as many shares and possibly even the same share price today making it a simple deal. With the many companies at work here and the multi-millions of shares, this is a challenge. Some have pointed out that there are other mining districts that have multiple companies and that this could likewise be the case in the ROF. The latter still seems like a pretty likely scenario given the size of the area. If NOT were to find a lot more NI and likewise FWR, they could both wind up being separate mines.....but that's if they both found a lot of NI. I think there would be a problem if they were just focusing on CR.... but then we know that CR is likely to come with the platinum group as well. Variables, variables.... so I guess we're just exercising our grey matter here as there, again, is clearly not enough information at our disposal. I wonder if at some point we'll have enough information to all be able to agree on what is going to happen. I think yes, it's called an N.R., announcing the buyout of .......... by.......... :)
