I don't believe Joanne J. is having her strings pulled by someone from above. She has a great position with a potential up and coming mining superstar and she wants to make an impression. Her role is to manage IR for Noront. At the end of the day her performance, as the Noront IR person, will be measured against the quality of the relationship Noront shares with the industry.
Appreciate your post Rosehill but we are a critical part of that industry. Just think of this. We will have another AGM. When we do, will we or they cause friction or not? Will things go smoothly at these meetings with this friction. I doubt it. They may have the shares now but what if we all decided to vote against. Get my point? What if they have an AGM in a room that holds 6 people.
My hats off to her for landing a job but I see a weakness in our I.R. team. They could make most of this go away.
