A quick example before I go.

Let's say that you and I are professional sports card traders.I sell you a Mickey Mantle rookie card for $500 on e-bay and next week you sell it back to me for $500 and next week I sell it back to you for $500 and so on.Pretty soon people would get the impression that the price of that card is only $500 and soon enough someone(Uninformed) might sell into your bid at that price.
