I did not see this on the news, so I am only reacting to what I have read here about the content and the perspective of this news article.

At the risk of presenting myself as a consiracy theorist and paranoid; allow me to offer this perspective ...

We know that the CBC is pro Canadian Govenment (funded, directed, coached and criticised by Government)

Here we have the CBC ratting out the OSC.

I'm inclined to think that this is a big deal and may be part of a future agenda to rectify the complacency and incompetence in the OSC.

In fact as I contemplate this further, I think this news bite may be a shot over the bow for the OSC and there could be a shit storm to follow in the next several weeks as Harper et al take aim at the problems in our economic system, and present solutions to sustain Canada's investment community and prompt our economic recovery.

My two bits worth ... not an opinion.
