I recieved a phone call this afternoon asking if Management could count on my support in the upcoming vote, to which I replied "of course". The guy was a very fast, smooth talker and only after I hung up did I realize he had started the conversation with "I am with Rosseau Asset Management" Please go easy on me as I had just woken up after working a 13 hour nightshift. They can't use my verbal OK as a vote can they? I had shredded my proxy's when they came, as it said if you didn't vote it would automatically be counted as a "yes" vote for Noront's proposals. Once I realized what had just happened, I immediately got on the phone to RBC Direct Investing, and they are sending me new Proxy forms today. As I hold Noront in three seperate accounts you can all count on three votes for Richard et al from me! I encourage anyone who has lost or shredded their Proxy`s to call their broker and get replacements sent out.
Regards, Pennies
this is not really completely true ,they have to have your CONTROL# to vote your shares so if you had sent in your proxy by mail for example, but had not checked all the boxes then they vote your shares as recommended by noront mgm, that is what is says on the back of the proxy, under the your vote is important sec,
