Some interesting posts today. Will $700B do the trick? Some are hopeful and others are not. None of us will know until the dust settles. Not long ago when oil was nearing $150 a barel truckers were hurting and hoping for oil under $100. The old saying, " be careful what you wish for " comes to mind. I read one commentary that to get under $100 the economy will have to slow considerably. Now we are getting it and it ain't so pretty. Soon the price of oil will not matter. They may not have much to haul. That's the H--- of this situation for everyone. But what matters here is Noront. It looks like they will be part of one huge ore body worth millions, billions, or hopefull, trillions. Depends on inflation I supppose, or heaven forbid, deflation. Noront has money for perhaps another year, then what? If some are right and this is the grand daddy of bear markets, then what? I am sure this idea is being mulled over by R.N. and everyone involved in the ring of fire. Taking this idea further, the ore body isn't going away anytime soon. Depending on the economy, its value and need will change. In the worst case I can imagine, to conserve cash and keep Noront viable, operations could be moth-balled until times improve. So someone has said, if you believe that then you should sell. But I ask, WHY? I own these shares, they are paid for. I will wait. I base that simply because I do not know which way this is going. I'm an old man who grew up during the depression years. I can tell you that all of you better be praying this doesn't get to be the grand daddy of bear markets. I do know that!!!!!
