RHammer,

this was indeed excellent news for the ROF, actually the first good news put forward this year. The apparent lack of gravel for roadbuilding(and site development) has been one of my own main concerns, both from a cost and timing point of view. I google earth the place but it is hard to get enough details.

In my opinion a winter road alone will not do it partly because of the cost of inventory, storage of the very fine concentrate(0.01 to 0.1 mm in diameter), even self ignition issues, what company will suddently take on such huge amount of material, etc. On an annual basis there has to be at least 200 thousand tonnes of nickel concentrate shipped. A good winter road will obviously help a lot in the start-up and to bring in initial equipment while the road is being built.

Thanks again for the excellent information
