The ramp is being driven to access quite a number of mineralization zones, as many as they can naturally. The ramp/portal will serve multiple purposes.

#1 Noront can obtain bulk samples from underground, run them through a mill and see what comes out.

#2 Noront can drill from underground to more easily define resources than from above ground.

First results will come from the two zones which are jv'd and not 100% owned by Noront. Just the way it works given the best way to drive access. Should be at one zone any day now.

The Noront zones are further away and will be accessed from deeper (ramp slants down).

Remember in mining gold you want gravity to do work for you so you work from below the gold, blast it and let it drop down for hauling out.
