Hey, Quack, I'm not sure I know a "double bottom" from a "single malt," but I am pretty sure that double bottom or not, this stock was not about to reverse without good news. And while TA often has elements of a self-fullfilling prophecy, in this case, it is difficult to understand how a falling stock price could have foretold news from 45 kilometers away from E1. Without knowing hardly anything about TA, I have posted the last two nights that the risk/reward was in NOT's favor, having increased dramatically as the sp decreased. I took modest advantage of that hunch Monday (wish I'd waited for Tuesday).

I'm not clear why we went up so dramatically on the news (and, perhaps, it wasn't all on the WSR-MTX news, but something else, something we don't know about yet, and there was some coincidence involved).

Assuming for the moment it was all the WSR-MTX news (the timing of NOT's sp move certainly suggests it was), I don't know that I've read a good explanation amongst today's posts as to what it was specifically that made our stock a major superstar today, all the way to closing on the high.

Is it that we have some land (jv or otherwise) in close proximity to that potential find, is it just the fact that it's another confirmation of the gargantuan potential of the ROF, is it that if WSR is successful and its sp rises, that inures to our benefit, at some later point, based on the NOT-WSR jv?

Anyway, NOT was a shining black diamond in my portfolio today, amongs a whole lotta faux rubies!!
