My first thoughts looking at the NR quickly between patients was this is average to poor news. The SP will be going down because the public expects better than this. I know it is easy to say this after the fact but I did send D12 and e-mail this morning reflecting those thoughts. The more important question for me as a long though is this:
Does this news really affect the possibilities of Noront to be a great company?
NO! Noront is already a great company with all the ducks lined up to deliver great ROI over the next 2 years.
Is the ROF burning out?
NO! We have drilled but a few anomalies out of the thousands out there. Pretty soon, other's including WSR will be out with their results and this will continue to boost interest in the ROF. Those that say NOT needs to find E1 results quick before we run out of money do not see the big picture. As long as tonnage is added by us or others, E1 will still be a very, very economical rock to extract and someone will pay our current share price just for this one rock as long as enough other deposits are proved up to justify the required infrastructure. So in the long run (2 years) this range 4-4.50 really is a bottom and should be seen as a buying opportunity.
Do I still feel good about my investment in the long run with this company.
Yes! I have not sold anything today at these ridiculous prices and have no plans to sell till much higher.
Does this news release offer more than the assay numbers seem to indicate?
Richer and bigger at depth!! That is the most important thing to remember. VB's original discovery was 31Mt but the Eastern Deeps (found at depth) was closer to 140Mt...So this news that the deposit extends at depth and is getting richer (visually) is very promising.
We will be getting a flood of NR over the next 6 - 12 months and I look forward to everyone of them.
Glorieux
PS I do expect our SP to drift higher over the next few weeks as people digest this info and understand the importance of it.
